The other day I was reminiscing about the 80's and thought I'd show some of the great videos off to my teenage daughter. I started with Aha's "Take on Me" and finally got to Wham's "wake me up before you go-go". I just had to show her the cheesy 80:s dancing that George Michael does. Suddenly she let out a shocked gasp. "Is he wearing skinny jeans?"
And so another teenager realized that their generation was in fact NOT the first to discover the current fashion craze.
LOL!!! That is just a great story! Poor kid, realizing her mom did the "cool" and "in" stuff already.
ReplyDeleteoh, guess who spoke in our ward on Sunday? Elder L. Whitney Clayton of the Presidency of the Seventy. Totally out of the norm. There was also another seventy with him and he spoke as well. I guess they were in Roseburg (1 hour from here) for a regional youth conference and decided to speak in our ward at the last minute. It was kinda cool to see someone who spoke at GC speak in our ward the very next week!
